Many of Honda’s vehicles share features––like Honda Sensing––Honda’s suite of driver assist and safety features. However, not every Honda vehicle is treated to the same list of features, and that’s why today we’ll be lasering in on the 2023 Honda CR-V and what we’ve found to be the coolest features on the list. The Honda CR-V is a great vehicle to drive in most states and cities owing to its reliability and fuel efficiency, but if you’re looking for a Honda CR-V for sale near Lynnwood, WA, then you’ve got the right idea! For a feature to be described as “cool,” it can’t be something found on every vehicle.

Are power windows exciting nowadays? Last we checked, power windows don’t stir up the same excitement they once did. Instead, features that we deem as “cool” are the ones that you likely didn’t have on your last car. Whether because of a feature that once belonged to high-end premium vehicles becoming more accessible in the mainstream or because the tech wasn’t in existence the last time you purchased a new vehicle, there’s something to be said about how features we now think of as “cool” may be far from it even five years from now. That’s the best part about discussions like these, so let’s begin by telling you about some of our favorite features to make their way to the 2023 Honda CR-V.

Bose Premium Audio

Love to listen to music while you drive? You don’t need to be an audiophile to notice the difference in how much clearer and punchier your music sounds and feels to listen to with a Bose Premium Audio system. Similarly, there’s no denying that those of you who can respect high-quality audio will find much to love when listening to your beloved Apple Music or Spotify playlists. Bose is a name you may be well-familiar with because its prowess and impact in the audio space span from home theaters and headphones to Bluetooth speakers, car audio solutions, and more.

HD Radio

While the thought of a premium audio system is still fresh in your mind, have you considered the quality of the music stream? HD Radio doesn’t come with every CR-V, but it does with models rocking the Bose Premium Audio system. With HD Radio, your CR-V will tune into your local radio stations digitally instead of through traditional radio frequencies. Along with better audio between a high-bitrate audio stream and your Bose Premium Audio system, your list of radio stations to access will multiply. Many of your radio stations you can listen to near Lynnwood support HD Radio, meaning your favorite station might support it too. Something cool about features like HD Radio is that it costs nothing extra to use if it comes installed in your car.

Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)

Honda Sensing is the safety and driver assist suite that comes standard with the 2023 CR-V. Thanks to Honda Sensing, your SUV will include more than several advanced features, many of which are helpful, neat, and innovative. The one that we find to be the coolest of the bunch is Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR). Traffic Sign Recognition reads speed limit signs and will display the speed limit on your dashboard. This is great if you missed a road sign or are traveling through unfamiliar areas in your Honda CR-V.

Tech Ports and Charging Amenities

With the 2023 CR-V, you’ll have a USB-C charging port ready to go. USB-C is a great interface because the connections are speedy and interchangeable, so you never have to flip the cord over to plug it in correctly. Having a USB-C port ready to go means you can not only sync data over to your infotainment center, like your favorite songs, but it also helps charge your phone rapidly. What’s even better is if you purchase a CR-V that comes with a wireless phone charging pad, you can leave the cables at home. The charging pad outputs 15W, putting it in line with your average phone charging brick, so you won’t have to sacrifice charging speed. Forget to charge your phone at night and now have a low battery before you have to drive to work? With a wireless charging pad that outputs 15W, you can have peace of mind knowing you’ll get a sizable chunk of your phone battery charged before you arrive at the office.

Infotainment Center With Analog Audio Controls

Infotainment centers have become a subject of debate in the automotive space in regard to how they are set up and what is more user-friendly. However, the Honda CR-V has an excellent infotainment system that many drivers will love. The infotainment system has a 7-in touchscreen and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You’ll even have Bluetooth if you prefer this for your phone. The infotainment center in the Honda CR-V is incredibly sleek looking, and the touch screen is clear, responsive, and vibrant. To the left of the touch screen is the volume knob, and it’s not only appealing to the eye, but it’s a cool feature when you consider it’s a take on modernism and traditionalism, with results that can very much create a love for the hybrid-like system that Honda has implemented into the CR-V.

One of the most useful features the 2023 CR-V has is available Real-Time AWD. Real-Time AWD is easier to describe as a dynamic AWD system. When traveling on regular roads, such as around Lynnwood on a sunny day, driving to Stamm Overlook Park, Marina Beach Park, or the Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, your CR-V will be utilizing its front two tires, but if you begin climbing a hill, or if it starts to rain as it does here in Washington, the CR-V will dynamically adjust torque output to each wheel as needed. Having a Real-Time AWD system can save you money, too, because you use less gas when AWD isn’t activated at all times as you’d find in a traditional AWD system. Real-Time AWD comes standard with the 2023 CR-V, so you can experience it at no additional cost.

The Experience is Unforgettable

The Honda CR-V has some of the neatest features on the market and at a surprisingly low cost. Some of you have driven a Honda vehicle before, so to some of you, this isn’t news––Honda has always had features that were either ahead or of the time and was also more cost-effective than the competition. The 2023 CR-V is one of the many vehicles in Honda’s lineup, but it’s an SUV that leaves one of the largest impacts on the market. It’s comfortable, fun to drive, and well worth bringing home as a family vehicle.

Features that usher back that “Wow!” feeling is always on tap with manufacturers like Honda, and the 2023 CR-V is an exciting look into the future of where less costly automobiles are heading. What are you waiting for? Don’t let another minute slip you by; if you live near Lynwood, we think you should try out the CR-V at Klein Honda––it doesn’t hurt to try, right?
