The Honda Pilot has been one of our favorite SUVs for a long time, thanks to its well-designed interior, impressive tech features, and remarkable performance, which makes it a joy to drive. Although it’s not been redesigned for 2025, the Pilot that you find here at your Honda dealer near Bellevue this year has some new features and options worth getting excited about. From the selection of trim levels that have been revamped and updated for this model year to the impressive all-wheel drive system that’s available and much more, everything about the 2025 Pilot is well worth getting excited about. Let’s take a closer look at seven of our favorite features of this year’s model, and you’ll see why we’re thrilled to offer the Pilot.

#1 – The New Honda Pilot Black Edition

Although there are many things we love about the 2025 Pilot, we couldn’t think of a better place to start than with its new pinnacle trim: the Black Edition. This option lives up to its name in numerous ways while also providing you with every incredible feature you could want. On the outside, you’ll notice a number of gorgeous Gloss Black details, including the front grille, roof rails, and power-folding auto-dimming side mirrors with integrated turn indicators. The Black Edition also has unique exterior badging and 20-inch Gloss Black wheels that look stunning and provide a powerful driving experience.

Inside, you’ll find perforated leather-trimmed seats featuring accent piping and embossed Black Edition badging on them. The dark interior looks fantastic, while exclusive red contrast stitching on the steering wheel, seats, and door panels creates a powerful and gorgeous touch of sophistication throughout. All of this is in addition to incredible standard features such as a four-inch head-up display, LED door trim lighting, and a 12-speaker Bose Premium sound system.

#2 – A More Refined Trim Lineup

Not only are we excited for this new Black Edition at the top of the Honda Pilot’s 2025 trim lineup, but the entire selection has been refined and revamped to make it easier to get everything you want for driving around Bellevue. For one thing, the starting trim from previous years—the LX—is gone, so now the Sport trim is the place to begin with this lineup. While we liked the LX just fine, we always felt it was a bit lacking. With this change, the Pilot Sport now offers you a great place to start with terrific standard features, including 20-inch wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and advanced safety technology (more on that in a moment). Above the Sport, you have several great trims to choose from, including the comfortable EX-L, the TrailSport for off-road capability (more on that in a moment, too), and the Elite to elevate your driving experience to a higher level each day.

#3 – Gorgeous Interior Features

We’ve already talked a bit about some of the fantastic interior features you can find on different Honda Pilot trim levels, but the reality is that every option is beautifully arranged inside. This is a three-row SUV, so you get seating for either seven or eight passengers, depending on the trim you choose. It has a spacious cabin with 40.5 inches of front headroom and 41 inches of front legroom, plus 39.3 inches of third-row headroom and 32.5 inches of legroom all the way in the back. A 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and four-way power front-passenger seat are standard in the 2025 Pilot, along with heated front seats. You can choose available options like leather-trimmed seats and a heated second row, but every model is comfortable for you and your passengers.

#4 – Great Performance for Bellevue Drivers

The engine might not be the most important thing to you when considering a three-row SUV like this, but you should always demand a great driving experience. Every 2025 Honda Pilot comes with a 3.5L V6 engine that offers 285 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with a fantastic 10-speed automatic transmission. This makes for a great drive each day, plus you can get Honda’s second-generation Intelligent Variable Torque Management (i-VTM4) AWD system. This is perfect for driving around Bellevue and dealing with bad weather, ensuring you stay in control of your vehicle no matter what nature throws at you.

#5 – The Incredibly Capable Honda Pilot TrailSport

Speaking of nature, if you’re someone who likes to leave the city behind and enjoy some of the gorgeous locales around Bellevue and throughout Washington, then the Honda Pilot TrailSport should be on your short list of SUVs. The TrailSport trim is designed for rough terrain and going off-road: it comes standard with the i-VTM4 AWD system and selectable drive modes that include Snow, Sport, Trail, and Sand. You get 18-inch wheels on the TrailSport wrapped in all-terrain tires for excellent traction and grip in conditions that would challenge all-season tires. This trim has 8.3 inches of ground clearance (a full inch more than other Pilot trims), plus an enhanced 19.8-degree approach angle, 19.6-degree breakover angle, and 19-degree departure angle. With 5,000 lbs of maximum towing capacity, you can take the TrailSport just about anywhere and haul a boat or camper along with you.

#6 – Terrific Tech Features Inside

As a Honda dealership, we get to enjoy innovative technology because Honda keeps delivering some very impressive tech features. The 2025 Pilot has great standard features, including push-button start, tri-zone automatic climate control, and illuminated controls on the leather-wrapped steering wheel. A seven-speaker sound system is standard, along with a seven-inch infotainment display and a seven-inch Driver Information Interface screen. Looking at the available options, things go to another level with great features like an auto-dimming rearview mirror, ambient interior lighting, and a four-inch head-up display. A larger 10.2-inch Driver Information Interface screen is available, along with a nine-inch infotainment display, a wireless phone charger, and a stunning 12-speaker Bose Premium sound system with multi-zone audio so all of your passengers can enjoy your tunes.

#7 – The Honda Sensing Suite to Keep You Safe

Few things are as important to us as our customers' safety on the road, which is why we love the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance features, which is standard on every 2025 Pilot. This includes Forward Collision Warning and Brake Assist as part of a Collision Mitigation Braking System, a Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Keeping Assist. You also get a Driver Attention Monitor and Traffic Sign Recognition on every trim.

Perhaps most impressive, even advanced features like a Blind Spot Information System and Cross Traffic Monitor, which are often only available as options on other models, are standard on every 2025 Honda Pilot. If you’re interested in more advanced systems, then you have a few available options, such as Low-Speed Braking Control and front and rear Parking Sensors, which are standard on higher trims of the Pilot. A Multi-View Camera System is available for enhanced vision when you’re driving, and the TrailSport comes with TrailWatch, which uses a forward-mounted camera to give you a better field of view so you can see any obstacles hiding from you.
