First-Ever 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback Hybrid
The Civic Hatchback for the 2025 model year features many of the same refreshed updates as the Civic Sedan, including the new hybrid option, which boosts performance and fuel economy. Thanks to the unique Honda hybrid powertrain design, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder hybrid provides 200 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque. The Civic Hatchback is now available in three trims, two of which are hybrid. It starts with the Sport, has the Sport Hybrid in the middle, and tops out with the Sport Touring Hybrid.
The first-ever hybrid iterations of the Civic Hatchback enable it to achieve much higher fuel economy ratings, making it much more valuable for long-range commuting. However, if you want pure performance from the hatchback, it's still available in the Civic Type R. The Civic Hatchback also has a few features exclusive to its design that separate it from the Civic Sedan models. For instance, while it shares the new Solar Silver Metallic and Urban Gray Pearl exterior colors, it also has an exclusive Sand Dune Pearl that is only available for the Civic Hatchback.
Much like the Civic Sedan, the Civic Hatchback also comes with enhanced interior changes and infotainment updates. Part of this update includes the introduction of the Google Built-In suite, featuring the Google Assistant app, easy access to Google Maps, and additional software and games you can acquire from the Google Play Store. Google Built-In is also fully powered by voice-activated commands, so if you want to access your favorite media, playlists, podcasts, and more, you can do so simply by talking to Google Assistant.
